Specifications

The metric clevis pin is the same hinge-in-a-part as its inch counterpart — low flat head, cross-hole for the retaining clip or cotter near the point, chamfered end that finds the hole — but sized on the metric ladder, where the collected table runs from a 3 mm shank (a 5 mm head, 0.8 mm cotter hole, 6 mm nominal length: linkages in small mechanisms and appliances) to 100 mm (a 120 mm head, 13 mm hole, 200 mm nominal: heavy linkages, agricultural and construction pivots). Per size the table carries: shank diameter d, head diameter dk, cotter hole diameter dl, end chamfer c, head chamfer e, head height k, end-to-center distance le (head face to the cotter hole center — the dimension that positions the retainment relative to the clevis ear), underhead radius r, and the length envelope nom/min/max (a ± 0.25–0.75 mm manufacturing band around nominal, e.g. 99.25–100.75 at the 100 mm pin). The reading order at assembly matches the inch pin: fit the shank to the clevis bore, check that le puts the cotter hole clear of the ear's edge, and drive the retainment through dl — pair the hole with a metric split cotter pin from the ISO 1234 ladder (this catalog's DIN 94/ISO 1234 page carries the pairing column). Shank sizes 6, 16 and 25–32 mm are not covered by published tables (see the table footnote). Materials, finishes and shear ratings are not tabulated by the collected specification — per RFQ.

Standard ISO 2341 — clevis pins with head, metric series (low flat head, cotter cross-hole, chamfered point for single-shear pivot duty)
Size range Shank 3 – 100 mm, twenty distinct sizes; sizes 6, 16 and 25–32 mm are not covered by published tables
Tabulated geometry Per size: shank dia. d, head dia. dk, hole dia. dl, end chamfer c, head chamfer e, head height k, end-to-center le, underhead radius r, length nom/min/max — e.g. 12 mm: dk 20, dl 3.2, k 4, le 5.5, length 24 nominal (23.5–24.5)
Length envelope Nominal ± 0.25 at small sizes widening to ± 0.75 at 45 mm and up — a manufactured band around nominal, not a cut-to-length dimension; other lengths per RFQ
Retainment Cotter hole dl: 0.8 at the 3 mm pin → 13 at the 100 mm pin — pairs with metric split cotter pins per the ISO 1234 ladder (see the DIN 94/ISO 1234 page for sizes and pairing)
Materials / finishes / ratings Not tabulated by the collected specification — per RFQ (state material, shear load and environment at quotation)
ISO 2341 clevis pins, metric — head, hole and length geometry, shank 3–100 mmAll dimensions in millimetres. The ladder is transposed from per-size listings, duplicate selections reproduced verbatim (see anomaly note). The published table prints "mm" beside each shank value — the token is kept in the first column. Length prints nom/min/max in that order. Materials, finishes and shear ratings are not tabulated — per RFQ.

  • Row 4 (5 / mm): Duplicate rows appear at shank 5 (two identical rows), 14 (two), 24 (four) and 36 (two) — reproduced verbatim.
  • Row 1 (3 / mm): Shank sizes 6, 16 and 25–32 are absent from the published ladder. Verify against the governing standard before quoting those sizes.
ISO 2341 clevis pins — second collected head-geometry ladder, shank 4–24 mm (mm)All dimensions in millimetres, comma decimal separators preserved as printed. Head-geometry ladder complementing the first table on this page — filling the shank 6 and 16 sizes that table does not carry. dk (h14) = head diameter; d1 (H13) = split-pin hole diameter; c = end chamfer (max); e = head chamfer; k (js14) = head height; le = end to hole centre (min); r = underhead radius. Shank 25–32 remain absent from the tabulated data — still open (see anomaly note). Length ladders are on the first table of this page.

Materials

  • Material and finish specified per RFQ — clevis pins take single-shear pivot loads and frequent reassembly; state the working load, clevis width and environment with the order

Ordering & documentation

Documents

Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.

Quotation

  • The fastener family (ISO 2341 Clevis Pins (Metric)) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
  • Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
  • Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
  • Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.

Sample & supply

Minimum order quantities and lead times for this family are confirmed at quotation — send your sizes, grades and quantities on the RFQ and the quote will carry a firm schedule. Sample availability is confirmed with the quotation.

Storage & shipping

Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pick the ISO 2341 size, length and retainment for a metric clevis?

Three readings off the collected table, in order. First the shank: match d to the clevis bores — the pin is a running fit, so drill or ream the bores to the nominal, not to a measured pin. Second the length: the nom/min/max band (± 0.25 at small sizes, ± 0.75 from 45 mm up) is the manufactured envelope around nominal, sized for a standard clevis without spacers; if your stack-up includes washers or spacers, order length as clevis width plus stack plus enough protrusion that the cotter hole sits fully outside the ear — use le to check that geometry, since it places the hole center relative to the head face. Third the retainment: the dl column is the hole the cotter passes through — 3.2 at a 12 mm pin, 13 at 100 mm — and the ISO 1234 pairing on this catalog's DIN 94/ISO 1234 page names the cotter size per pin. One size caution: shank sizes 6, 16 and 25–32 mm are not covered by published tables — quote them explicitly and they will be confirmed at RFQ rather than interpolated. And as with the inch pin, none of this table carries load ratings: shear capacity, material and finish are RFQ lines.
