DIN 128B Spring Lock Washers, Type B (Heavy Pattern)
DIN 128B spring lock washers type B, sizes 2 to 100 — the heavy-pattern helical washer for large-diameter bolted joints — with the full collected 28-size table: bore, section width, material thickness, free height and the source's reference mass per 1000 units.

Specifications
DIN 128B is the type B spring lock washer: the heavy pattern of the helical family, with no adsorbing collar, running from size 2 all the way to 100 — the sizes where a collar would be impractical and the coil section is what carries the work. At the large end the washer is a serious spring: 12 mm section at size 48, 14 mm at sizes 56 through 100, giving the joint a maintained axial load under a heavy bolt. The collected table covers 28 sizes with bore d (min / max), section width n (Nominal Size / min / max), material thickness h (Nominal Size / min / max), free height H (min / max), and the source's reference mass per 1000 units. Spring force, materials and finishes are not printed by the collected specification and stay per RFQ. For the collared type A form see DIN 128A on this site.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (DIN 128B Spring Lock Washers, Type B (Heavy Pattern)) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Which spring washer for large-diameter bolts?
The heavy type B pattern exists because a spring washer scales badly: a plain DIN 127 washer at size 56 and above would need an impractical section to load the joint. DIN 128B carries a 14 mm section into the large sizes, so large bearing bolts, flanges and structural machine joints keep a live coil without changing washer type. Size it from the table — bore, section n and free height H are the three numbers that matter — and be honest about the joint: a spring washer maintains load, it does not create clamp force, so the bolt still has to be tightened to its proper preload first. Where the face is uneven, pair it with a plain washer to give the coil a flat seat.
What is the MOQ and lead time for this washer type?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common sizes are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
