ISO 7089 Plain Flat Washers
Plain flat washers per ISO 7089 (DIN 125 Type A counterpart) — the normal-series unchamfered washer, product grade A. The general-purpose bearing washer under bolts, nuts and set faces, dimensioned M3 to M72 in the collected series.

Specifications
ISO 7089 is the unchamfered, general-purpose metric flat washer: a product-grade-A disc in the normal series that spreads clamp load, covers the clearance hole, and gives the joint a true bearing face. It is the DIN 125 Type A counterpart, and its dimensions are the standard metric washer series — 10.5 × 21 × 2 mm at M10, growing to 58 × 105 × 9 mm at M72 in the collected table. Choose it wherever the mating face is flat: under plain nuts without a fillet-bearing issue, under set faces, or as general load distribution on brackets and housings. Where the bearing partner is a filleted hex head or nut face, the chamfered ISO 7090 form of the same series is the matched part.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (ISO 7089 Plain Flat Washers) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
When is a plain ISO 7089 washer the right choice over a hardened or large-series washer?
When the joint is ordinary. The ISO 7089 plain washer is the economical default for distributing clamp load through a normal clearance hole in solid material — its 200 HV-class hardness serves assemblies up to property class 8.8. Three departures call for something else: against property class 10.9 or 12.9 bolts, a hardened washer (ASTM F436 or the metric structural equivalents) is needed so the washer does not embed; over slotted, oversized or soft substrates, a large-series washer (DIN 9021 / ISO 7093) spreads the bearing; and under a filleted hex head, the chamfered ISO 7090 form of this same series seats the fillet properly.
What is the MOQ and lead time for this washer type?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common sizes in this washer type are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
What should an RFQ for this washer type state?
State the standard designation and form (for example ISO 7090 chamfered or DIN 7980 high-collar), the nominal bolt or screw size it must fit, material and hardness requirements, finish (plain, zinc-plated, or hot-dip galvanized where the assembly calls for it), required certificates such as a mill test report per EN 10204 3.1, and quantity per size — plus destination country.
