Specifications

A countersunk screw needs its washer sunk with it — DIN 74361 is the conical spring washer whose raised rim seats under a countersunk head, keeping the spring tension while staying flush with the countersink. This reference tabulates the collected source's ladder across five nominal diameters in two blocks as it prints them: 12.5 / 14.5 / 18.5, then 20.5 / 22.5. Per size you get the washer diameter d (max, and min = nominal size), the approx. countersunk cone diameter dc and the approx. hole d1 — the source prints both approx. — the height h (max, min = nominal size), the spherical radius SR with its nominal size and max./min. band, and the mass per 1000 pieces. One honest reading note carried from the source, not cleaned up: every value in the 20.5 / 22.5 block is printed identically in both columns (dc 34/34, d1 24/24, h 9/9, SR 18/18.5/17.5) — the source shows the two largest sizes with a shared value set, so confirm the exact split at RFQ if your assembly separates them. Spring grade, hardness and finish are not on the collected grid — per RFQ; lead time, MOQ and pricing: contact for confirmation.

Standard DIN 74361 — countersunk spring lock washers for countersunk-head screws
Nominal diameters 12.5, 14.5, 18.5, 20.5, 22.5 (source's two blocks: 12.5/14.5/18.5 and 20.5/22.5)
Washer diameter (d) max 13 → 23; min = nominal size
Countersunk cone diameter (dc) approx. 23 → 34
Hole (d1) approx. 14.5 → 24
Height (h) max 6 → 9; min = nominal size 5 → 8
Spherical radius (SR) nominal 12 → 18; max. 12.5 → 18.5; min. 11.5 → 17.5
Mass 7.5 → 21 per 1000 pieces (approx-kg row as printed)
Not tabulated Spring material, hardness, finish, sizes beyond nominal 22.5 — per RFQ; lead time, MOQ and pricing: contact for confirmation
Duplication note The 20.5 / 22.5 block prints identical values in both columns throughout (source as printed) — confirmed per RFQ when the assembly distinguishes the two sizes
DIN 74361 countersunk spring lock washers — nominal diameters 12.5 / 14.5 / 18.5As printed on the collected page: d max / min=nominal size, countersunk diameter dc approx., hole d1 approx. (both subscript labels in the source, rendered here as dc / d1), height h max / min=nominal size, spherical radius SR (Nominal Size / max. / min. — the source prints the trailing period on max. and min. here only), and mass per 1000 units approx-kg. All dimensions in mm as printed. Verification: re-fetched from the live page 2026-11-01, token-for-token equal to the live-DOM extraction.

Materials

  • Countersunk spring lock washers are supplied in spring steel with the hardness and finish the assembly calls for; the collected table tabulates geometry and mass only, so material certificates are quoted per RFQ against your countersunk-screw designation

Ordering & documentation

Documents

Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.

Quotation

  • The fastener family (DIN 74361 Countersunk Spring Lock Washers) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
  • Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
  • Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
  • Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.

Sample & supply

Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.

Storage & shipping

Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.

Frequently asked questions

How does DIN 74361 differ from the ordinary helical spring lock washer, and when do I need it?

An ordinary helical spring washer (DIN 127-style) sits under a hex bolt head and works by its split anyway-you-flatten-it spring action. DIN 74361 is the countersunk-head variant: a conical (dished) washer whose geometry matches a countersunk screw, so the head seats into the cone instead of bridging a split ring. That is why its tabulated dimensions read differently from a flat or helical washer table — dc is the countersunk cone the head rides in, h is the cone height, and SR is the spherical radius on the cone — all printed approx. in the source except the d and h envelopes. Use it anywhere a countersunk socket or flat head needs retained clamp load on a joint that sees vibration, and pair it with the matching countersunk screw designation rather than mixing with the flat-washer ladder elsewhere in this catalog.

Why do the 20.5 and 22.5 columns on the source table print exactly the same numbers?

That is how the collected source prints its second block, and the table here is carried token-for-token rather than "corrected": dc 34, d1 24, h 9 (max) / 8 (min) and SR 18 / 18.5 / 17.5 appear identically under both nominal diameters. The plausible reading is that the two largest sizes share a cone geometry with the nominal diameter distinguishing them, but we do not print a plausible reading as a fact — if your assembly actually distinguishes 20.5 from 22.5 (for example against a specific countersunk screw head diameter), state both sizes in the RFQ and we confirm the exact per-size split with the producing works before quoting.
