ISO 7094 Washers for Timber Constructions
ISO 7094 washers for use in timber constructions — large-diameter flat washers M5 to M36 (plus non-preferred M14–M33) that spread bolt loads in wood, with the collected preferred and non-preferred d1/d2/h ladders.

Specifications
ISO 7094 is the timber-construction washer: a large-diameter, relatively thick flat washer whose whole job is to spread a bolt's clamping load across enough wood surface that the washer does not embed as the timber seasons and the joint loosens. The collected source splits the ladder into preferred sizes (M5 to M36: for example M12 with a 44 mm outside diameter and 4 mm nominal thickness, M20 at 72 mm and 6 mm) and a non-preferred panel (M14, M18, M22, M27, M33), both tabulated with bore min/max, outside min/max and thickness min/max. Compare the dedicated DIN 1052 timber page in this catalog: ISO 7094 runs a much longer size ladder down into the small-bolt range, while DIN 1052 concentrates on the heavy-connector gauges. Read the thickness column against your embedment concern — 6 mm nominal at M20 here against 3 mm on the normal ISO 7089 series is the difference between a washer that keeps its flat and one that dishes into the grain. Material and finish are not tabulated by the collected specification — per RFQ (timber treatment drives the coating choice, so name the preservative or exposure at quotation).

Materials
- Material and finish specified per RFQ — state the timber treatment (preservative-treated, CCA, exterior exposure) so a compatible coating is confirmed at quotation
Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (ISO 7094 Washers for Timber Constructions) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
ISO 7094 or DIN 1052 — which timber washer do I order?
Both spread load into wood; the ladders decide it. ISO 7094 covers the general timber-bolting range from M5 (18 mm outside diameter) up to M36 (125 mm), so it is the choice for ordinary bolted timber connections and for small-diameter fixings where the dedicated timber washer has no size. DIN 1052 in this catalog starts at M12 and is sized for the heavy timber-connector joints of the building standard of the same name — bigger plates, fewer sizes. Compare at M12: 44 mm outside and 4 mm thickness on the ISO ladder, 58 mm and 6 mm on the DIN 1052 ladder — the heavier the connector, the more plate you want. Neither collected table names steel grade or coating, and treated timber makes the finish choice load-bearing in its own right, so both stay per RFQ.
