ISO 7090 Chamfered Flat Washers
Chamfered plain flat washers per ISO 7090 (DIN 125 Type B counterpart) — the normal-series washer with a chamfered outer edge that seats flat under a hex bolt head or nut fillet. Product grade A, dimensioned M3 to M72 in the collected series.

Specifications
ISO 7090 is the chamfered form of the standard metric flat washer family. Dimensionally it shares the ISO 7089 series — same inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness per bolt size — but the outer edge carries a chamfer. That chamfer exists for the bolt head: hex screw heads and nuts are formed with a fillet radius where the bearing face meets the shank, and on an unchamfered washer the fillet can bridge past the flat bearing face onto the sharp edge, tilting the head and cutting preload. Under a chamfered or filleted bearing face, the ISO 7090 form lets the fillet run out on the chamfer instead. It is the DIN 125 Type B counterpart; the collected series runs M3 to M72 with thickness growing from 0.5 mm at M3 to 10 mm at M72.

- Row 23 (M56): The shared DIN 125 source sheet prints "M58" after M56 (60/110/9, weight 471); the dimension step matches M60, so the label is a source misprint. The row is dropped from this mirrored series.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (ISO 7090 Chamfered Flat Washers) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
ISO 7090 vs ISO 7089 — does the chamfer change which washer fits?
Not the fit — the form. Both washers share one hole, outer-diameter and thickness series for a given bolt size, so either covers the same clearance hole. The chamfer is about what sits on top of the washer: a hex bolt head or nut with a fillet radius at its bearing face can bridge onto the sharp edge of an unchamfered washer, so the chamfered ISO 7090 form (DIN 125 Type B) is the natural partner there. Where the washer seats under a flat-faced component with no fillet, the unchamfered ISO 7089 (DIN 125 Type A) does the same bearing job.
What is the MOQ and lead time for this washer type?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common sizes in this washer type are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
What should an RFQ for this washer type state?
State the standard designation and form (for example ISO 7090 chamfered or DIN 7980 high-collar), the nominal bolt or screw size it must fit, material and hardness requirements, finish (plain, zinc-plated, or hot-dip galvanized where the assembly calls for it), required certificates such as a mill test report per EN 10204 3.1, and quantity per size — plus destination country.
