Specifications

DIN 7349 washers are the heavy-duty flat washers that accompany clevis joints built on heavy-type spring pins: each size is matched to a DIN 1481 clamping sleeve, so the washer bears on the pin joint where loads are pivoting and dynamic. Compared with the DIN 125 series it is both thicker and wider for the same bolt — at M10, 4 mm thick on a 25 mm outer diameter versus 2 mm and 21 mm in the normal series — giving the pin head and the clevis face a much larger bearing area. The collected series runs M3 to M30, with sections from 1 mm to 10 mm.

Standard DIN 7349 — thick flat washers for bolts with heavy-type spring pins (no ISO equivalent in the collected sheet)
Series range M3 to M30 in the collected dimension series
Worked row (M10) 11 mm hole × 25 mm outer diameter × 4 mm thick — pairs with a DIN 1481 sleeve for an 18 mm pin
Worked row (M16) 17 mm hole × 40 mm outer diameter × 6 mm thick — pairs with a DIN 1481 sleeve for a 28 mm pin
Bearing principle Thicker and wider than DIN 125 for the same bolt — larger bearing surface for pivoting pin joints
System pairing Each size matched to a DIN 1481 clamping sleeve (heavy-type spring pin) diameter
Hole-series note The two collected sheets state different hole series for DIN 7349 (the pin-sleeve sheet lists an 11 mm hole at the bolt-10 row; the fuller /tech/ table lists 10.5 mm following bolt-clearance practice) — state the required hole at RFQ where it matters
Stock range Collected stock statement: M3 to M30 in zinc-plated steel and A2/A4 stainless steel

Ordering & documentation

Documents

Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.

Quotation

  • The fastener family (DIN 7349 Thick Flat Washers for Heavy-Type Spring Pins) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
  • Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
  • Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
  • Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.

Sample & supply

Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.

Storage & shipping

Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Where does DIN 7349 fit compared with a standard flat washer?

At pin joints, where loading is pivoting rather than static clamping. A clevis or linkage built on a heavy-type spring pin swings and shocks, and the washer there has to carry that load over a wide face without dishying — so DIN 7349 is cut thicker and wider than the DIN 125 series for the same nominal bolt: 4 mm and 25 mm OD at M10 against 2 mm and 21 mm. Each size is dimensioned around the DIN 1481 clamping sleeve that retains the pin, which is why the hole series (11 mm at M10, 17 mm at M16) tracks pin and sleeve diameters rather than thread sizes. For ordinary bolted joints, the standard flat washer series remains the right, more economical part.

What is the MOQ and lead time for this washer type?

The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common sizes in this washer type are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.

What should an RFQ for this washer type state?

State the standard designation and form (for example ISO 7090 chamfered or DIN 7980 high-collar), the nominal bolt or screw size it must fit, material and hardness requirements, finish (plain, zinc-plated, or hot-dip galvanized where the assembly calls for it), required certificates such as a mill test report per EN 10204 3.1, and quantity per size — plus destination country.
