DIN 508 T-Slot Nuts
DIN 508 T-slot nuts, M4 to M48 — the tongue nut that drops into a machine table's T-slot and turns it into a clamping point — with the full collected 13-size table: pitch, tongue width, width across flats, height, matching T-slot size and the source's reference mass.

Specifications
Every machine table with T-slots takes its clamping hardware from DIN 508: a nut whose lower half is a tongue sized to slide into the slot, and whose upper half is a standard metric thread for the stud or clamp screw. Drop it in, twist 90 degrees so the tongue sits across the slot, and the table becomes a fixturing grid. The collected table covers M4 to M48 — 13 sizes — with thread pitch P, the tongue width a (Nominal Size / max / min), width across flats s, tongue offset f, nut height h, key height k, the matching T-slot width per DIN 650, and the source's reference mass per 1000 units. That DIN 650 column is the sizing rule: the nut's tongue is chosen to fit the table's slot, and the thread follows the clamp hardware. Materials and property classes are not printed by the collected specification and stay per RFQ. For the washer side of the clamping kit see DIN 6340 on this site.
| Standard | DIN 508 — T-slot nuts (for machine tool tables per DIN 650 slots) |
|---|---|
| Series | M4 – M48 (13 sizes tabulated); each size keyed to its matching DIN 650 T-slot width |
| Tabulated geometry | Per size: pitch P, tongue width a (Nominal Size / max / min), across flats s (max / min), tongue offset f, height h, key height k (max / min), matching T-slot per DIN 650, reference mass per 1000 units ≈ kg |
| Function | Tongue seats in the T-slot; standard metric thread above accepts studs, clamps and straps |
| Materials / strength | Not tabulated by the collected specification — per RFQ (property class per clamping load) |

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (DIN 508 T-Slot Nuts) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
How do I pick the right T-slot nut for my machine table?
Start from the slot, not the thread. Measure the T-slot's nominal width and find that figure in the tabulated "for T-slots according to DIN 650" column — the tongue width a is cut to fit that slot with the right slide clearance. The thread above the tongue is then whatever your clamping stud runs: the same slot takes different thread sizes as the clamping duty grows, which is why the table lists both per size. Check the nut height h against your strap or clamp so the thread engagement stays full when the clamp bottoms out.
What is the MOQ and lead time for this nut type?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common diameters in this nut type are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
