DIN 555 Hex Nuts (Product Grade C)
DIN 555 hex nuts, product grade C, M5 to M100 — the rough-tolerance hex nut for structural, agricultural and general site work — with the collected per-size tables: pitch, d w, e, height m, m w and across flats s across nine column groups.
Last updated: 2026-11
Specifications
DIN 555 is the product-grade-C hex nut: the same basic form as the precision DIN 934 hex nut but made to the wider, hot-forged tolerances of grade C — the tolerance class that matches grade-C bolts (DIN 601-class hex bolts) on sites and structures where the fastener is hot-dip galvanized, driven with a fitter's wrench and judged on clamp, not on fit. The relaxed tolerances are a cost feature: no machining, no selective assembly, a nut that runs onto a galvanized thread where a precision grade would bind on the zinc. The collected tables span M5 to M100 in nine source column groups — one of the widest nut ranges on this site — printing per size: pitch P, bearing face d w (min), across corners e (min), height m (Nominal/max/min), the m w dimension (min) and across flats s (max=nominal/min), plus the source's mass-per-1000 figures. Note the across-flats series: the source prints s 17 at M10 (not the 16 of DIN 934) and 46 at M30 — grade C keeps the older, larger flats on some sizes. Parenthesized sizes are the non-preferred series as printed. Property classes and finishes are not tabulated by the collected specification and stay per RFQ.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation

- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
DIN 555 or DIN 934 — which hex nut for my assembly?
By the bolt and the environment, not the nut in isolation. DIN 934 is the precision nut: tighter tolerances, the standard choice with machined and property-class-marked bolts where the joint is engineered. DIN 555 is its grade-C counterpart: hot-forged at wider tolerances, made to pair with grade-C bolts on frames, implements, fencing, guard rails and galvanized structures — and the collected tables show the practical difference in the s column, where the source prints across-flats 17 at M10 and 46 at M30 against the DIN 934 series' 16 and 45: keep a wrench set that covers both, because mixing standards on one site is normal. The rule that matters is pairing: a grade-C nut on a precision bolt wastes the bolt's tolerance, and a precision nut on a hot-dip galvanized grade-C bolt will fight the zinc on the threads — if the assembly is galvanized, order the nut galvanized and over-tapping to match, and confirm the pair at RFQ.
What is the MOQ and lead time for this nut type?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common sizes in this nut type are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
