DIN 939 Double-End Studs (Screwed-In End ≈ 1.25 d)
Double-end metric studs to DIN 939 — the screwed-in end at approximately 1.25 × thread diameter, nut-end thread length tabulated by grip L through (M52), with the collected coarse/fine/very-fine pitch ladder M4 to (M52).

Specifications
DIN 939 is the middle engagement of the double-end stud trio — screwed-in end ≈ 1.25 d (the collected b 1 row runs 5 mm at M4 to 65 mm at (M52)) — and is the most commonly drawn of the three for general machinery: enough engaged thread to hold in a standard tapping practice, without the stud standing off the housing. The collected ladder splits the pitch rows into coarse, fine and very fine variants per size, so a drawing calling an M12×1.25 or M12 fine stud resolves directly off the table. The nut end carries the grip-based engagement rows (L≤125 / 125<L≤200 / L>200), and the ladder runs to (M52). For the shorter and longer screwed-in ends see the DIN 938 and DIN 835 pages in this catalog. Material, property class and finish are not printed by the collected specification — per RFQ.

- Row 1 (22): Column alignment note (batch-level, anchored here): the 9 weight columns align one-to-one to the source header sizes (M5, M6, M8, M10, M12, M16, M20, M24, M27); verified against the rendered grid (rowspan/colspan expanded) and the monotone per-size weight progressions, not inferred from the flattened markup alone. The first grid row is a lone "Length" section label, carried as the first-column semantics.
Materials
- Material and property class specified per RFQ — state the class and coating (carbon steel class, A2/A4 stainless, galvanized) at quotation
Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (DIN 939 Double-End Studs (Screwed-In End ≈ 1.25 d)) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 1,000–10,000 pieces depending on size. Stock items run 3–7 days. High-strength and custom parts run 15–25 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Why does the DIN 939 ladder use "/" where DIN 938 uses "-"?
Different presentation of the same absence: both marks are the source's way of printing "no tabulated value for this size/row" — the fine and very fine pitch rows and the long-grip (L>200) nut-end engagement on the small sizes. The figures are not missing from supply; they are simply not tabulated by the collected specification for those sizes, so quote the exact size-and-pitch callout on the RFQ and the engagement is confirmed per drawing rather than read across from a neighbouring size.
