ASME B18.11 Slotted Head Miniature Screws — Fillister / Pan / Flat Head Dimensions (30 UNM – 140 UNM)
ASME B18.11 slotted head miniature screw head dimensions — fillister, pan and flat (100° countersunk) head diameter, height, slot width/depth, chamfer and cone/radius features per size from 30 UNM to 140 UNM, transcribed row-for-row from the collected charts.

Specifications
UNM threads define the screw's helix; ASME B18.11 defines its head. The collected charts carry all three classic slotted miniature head styles per size from 30 UNM (0.0118 in basic major) to 140 UNM (0.0551 in): fillister — flat top, cylindrical sides, flat bearing, the tall precision head; pan — flat top with cylindrical sides on a flat bearing but shorter and broader, the electronics-panel workhorse; and flat head — countersunk at approximately 100° (a miniature-specific angle, not the inch-standard 82° or metric 90°; the source's own note), sitting flush in a mating countersink. The three head tables share a column set per size — head diameter A max/min, head height H max/min, slot width J max/min, slot depth T max/min — with the fillister and pan adding a chamfer dimension C, and the flat head adding Av (full cone diameter at max height), R (min radius) and the body-diameter note (source Note 1: body dia. may not exceed max major nor fall below min pitch diameter). Reading the pan table at 60 UNM: A 0.051/0.049 in, H 0.020/0.017, J 0.010/0.007, T 0.010/0.007. Head choice is an assembly-design decision (flush vs proud, driver access, head height budget); material, finish and drive-slot quality class are per RFQ — and the mating threads live on the ASME B1.10M UNM page.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (ASME B18.11 Slotted Head Miniature Screws — Fillister / Pan / Flat Head Dimensions (30 UNM – 140 UNM)) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Fillister, pan or 100° flat head for a miniature assembly — and what does the 100° countersink angle change?
The three heads trade height against bearing and driver access. Fillister is the tall, narrow precision head: its cylindrical sides give maximum head height for wrenching and seating depth but it stands proud — right where an instrument bezel has room and the screw may need frequent service. Pan is shorter and broader: the panel-hardware default in electronics, better bearing spread for the same screw, less head height to budget, and the easiest slot to drive in volume assembly. Flat is the flush answer — and its countersink angle is the detail that catches drawings: ASME B18.11 uses approximately 100°, not the 82° of inch machine screws or the 90° of metric — so the mating countersink must be spec'd to match (the chart's Av full-cone column sizes it) or the head seats rim-only, losing both flushness and bearing. One more column matters at this scale: the flat-head table's body-diameter note (source Note 1) bounds the unthreaded shank between the max major and min pitch diameters — at 0.02 in-scale screws there is no room for a sloppy body, so parts made off-spec pass by eye and fail by gauge. Practical selection: budget head height first (flat < pan < fillister), then driver access and service frequency; specify material, finish and slot quality at RFQ, and pair threads from the ASME B1.10M UNM page.
What is the MOQ and lead time for threaded parts on this standard?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common thread sizes on this standard are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
