Specifications

ISO 8676 is the fully threaded member of the fine-pitch hex family — the counterpart of ISO 4017 in fine pitch, and the fully threaded partner to the shanked ISO 8765 bolt (the collected page notes it replaces DIN 961). Where the screw passes through a clearance hole and clamps with a nut or into a tapped blind boss, there is no shank to locate against, so threading the full length removes the unthreaded run-up and puts usable thread wherever the joint needs it — the standard pick for adjustment screws, tie rods and through-bolts into tapped housings, especially in fine pitch where every engaged turn counts. The collected tables run M8×1 to M64×4 with sizes repeated per pitch option (M10 at 1.25 and 1, M12 at 1.5 and 1.25, and so on). Per size they tabulate the a thread run-out tolerance, chamfer c, transition d a, bearing-face d w, across-corners e, head height k with grade-toleranced max/min, the k 1 bearing check, fillet r and across-flats s — in product grades A and B, with the source's "Gread" spelling and its "/" cells where Grade A data is not tabulated above M24 kept verbatim and disclosed in the unit notes. Property classes and finishes are not printed by the collected specification and stay per RFQ.

Standard ISO 8676 — hexagon head screws, fully threaded, metric fine pitch thread; the collected page notes it replaces DIN 961
Series M8×1 – M64×4 (nine source column groups; sizes repeated per pitch option as printed — M10 at 1.25 and 1, M12 at 1.5 and 1.25, M16/M18/M20/M22 likewise)
Tabulated geometry Per size: pitch P, a (max/min), c, d a (max), d w (Gread A/B min), e (Gread A/B min), k (nominal, Gread A/B max/min), k 1 (Gread A/B min), r (min), s (max=nominal, Gread A/B min)
Product grades A and B as printed; all Grade A rows are "/" above M24 — per the source, Grade B applies in the large series
Property classes / finishes Not tabulated by the collected specification — per RFQ (state class and pitch explicitly: 8.8 M10×1, not "fine M10")
ISO 8676 hex head screws (fine pitch) - per-size dimensions (M8 - M10)All dimensions in millimeters. Attribute labels follow the source (the collected page spells the product grade 'Gread' and the screw grade 'Gread A'/'Gread B' — kept verbatim): P = thread pitch; a = thread run-out tolerance; c = chamfer height; d a = transition diameter; d w = bearing-face diameter; e = width across corners; k = head height; k 1 = head-bearing check height; r = fillet radius; s = width across flats. '/' where the source does not tabulate the cell (all Grade A rows above M24 are '/'); the collected page states the standard replaces DIN 961.

Ordering & documentation

Documents

Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.

Quotation

  • The fastener family (ISO 8676 Hex Head Screws (Fine Pitch, Fully Threaded)) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
  • Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
  • Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
  • Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.

Sample & supply

Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.

Storage & shipping

Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.

Frequently asked questions

ISO 8676 (fully threaded) or ISO 8765 (shank) in fine pitch?

By what the joint needs from the unthreaded steel. The shanked ISO 8765 bolt puts a precise parallel shank through the joint — shear loads ride on the plain dowel surface, and the head seats at a controlled grip length — which is what a fitted or shear-loaded joint wants. The fully threaded ISO 8676 screw gives up the shear shank and gains flexibility: clamp position anywhere along the screw, use in tapped blind bosses where a shank would bottom out, and shorter stock lists because one screw spans several grip lengths. The head envelope (k, s, e, d w) is identical size for size across the two, so wrenching and seats do not change. Order by diameter and pitch together — the collected tables repeat each diameter per pitch (M10 at 1.25 and 1) — and note the grade discipline: above M24 the source tabulates Grade B only ("/" Grade A cells), so large-series work is Grade B by the collected specification.

What is the MOQ and lead time for this screw type?

The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Common sizes in this screw type are widely stocked; confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
