Ultra-Drive Countersunk Security Self Tapping Screws (UL04)
Countersunk head security self-tapping screws in the Ultra-Drive 2-way reusable pin-in-hexalobular drive, sheet-metal thread sizes No.2–No.14 in stainless steel — flush-finish reusable security fixing that forms its own thread in sheet, the pairing of a prepared countersink with a thread-forming thread.

Specifications
UL04 closes out the Ultra-Drive four-SKU matrix: the countersunk head of UL02 combined with the self-tapping thread of UL03. The use case is a flush security finish in sheet that has never been tapped — cabinet doors, ducting access panels, railway and transport interiors, anywhere a protruding head is a snag hazard or a vandalism handle and the base material is thin enough that thread-forming beats tapping. The sheet-metal thread runs No.2–No.14 and the manufacturer lists stainless steel as the material; the head is drawn to the 90° countersink, which must exist in the mating part — in thin sheet that usually means a punched or drilled countersink at fabrication, not on site. Driving discipline matters more here than on the machine-thread SKUs: the screw must form its thread and pull the head to the seat in one controlled stroke, so torque setting and pilot hole size are part of the installation specification, and the matched Ultra-Drive bit is ordered with the screws. Get the four SKUs in one view and the choice is mechanical: button or countersunk head, machine or sheet thread, all sharing one 2-way reusable drive system.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (Ultra-Drive Countersunk Security Self Tapping Screws (UL04)) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
Can UL04 be driven into an unprepared hole?
The thread will form in plain sheet with a correct pilot hole, but the countersunk head needs a 90° seat to sit flush — driven into an uncountersunk hole it stands proud and loses the flush finish that motivates the SKU. Prepare the countersink at fabrication, or choose button-head UL03 when the sheet stays plain.
What should an RFQ for UL04 screws state?
Sheet-thread size (No.2–No.14), length, base-material type and thickness for the thread-form confirmation, the countersink angle in the mating part (90° for this head form), material class, quantity per size, and drive bits with the order. Per-size head dimensions are confirmed with the quotation.
What is the MOQ and lead time for Ultra-Drive security screws?
The minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items ship in 3–7 days; non-stock items are confirmed at quotation. Confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
