Specifications
This is the flush-seating counterpart of the TX04: a countersunk self-tapping screw that cuts its own thread and then disappears into the countersink — the low-profile choice for sheet metal, plastics and any panel where a proud head would catch or invite prying. The collected tabulation runs No.2 to No.14, with head diameters from 4.3 mm to 12.4 mm, head heights from 1.3 mm to 3.8 mm, and driver sizes TX6 to TX30, shared across adjacent gauges as on the rest of the line. The drive is the standard pin-TX arrangement: six lobes around a centre pin, medium security against vandals and thieves at low cost, reusable two-way so maintenance stays possible. Length availability is legible in the collected matrix only for two gauges — No.2 marked available to order in 3/16"–1" (4.5–25 mm) and No.7 in 1/4"–2 3/4" (6.5–70 mm) — with the remaining columns unmarked and therefore confirmed at quotation. Materials per the collected page are A2 and A4 stainless steel.

Ordering & documentation
Documents
Shipments are backed by Mill Test Certificate (MTC), Dimensional Report, Salt Spray Test Report on request, with full batch traceability from raw material to finished product. Quality management follows the owner-confirmed compliance list: ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH. Exact document sets are confirmed on the order.
Quotation
- The fastener family (TX05 6-Lobe Pin TX Countersunk Self Tapping Security Screws) plus the standard designation from your drawing — DIN / ISO / JIS / ASTM / ANSI, or a drawing for custom parts.
- Size (diameter and length), thread type (metric or inch), property class or grade, and coating or finish.
- Quantity per size and your target delivery date.
- Destination country, and any required documents (for example a mill test certificate) so the quote includes them.
Sample & supply
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces. Stock items run 3–7 days. Quantities or variants outside the standard range are confirmed at quotation.
Storage & shipping
Parts are packed for export and shipped factory-direct to buyers in Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. Store fasteners dry and protected until installation, and keep coated parts in their packaging until use; specific packing and preservation requirements can be stated on the order and confirmed at quotation.
Frequently asked questions
TX04 or TX05 for a sheet-metal panel?
The drive and the thread-cutting behaviour are the same line; the decision is the head. TX05 seats flush in a countersunk hole — right for sliding parts, handles and anything a passing hand or tool could catch on — while TX04 (supplied as a pan head per the collected legend) keeps a low but proud dome that tolerates thinner sheet without countersinking. Note the tabulated heads differ in envelope at the same gauge: No.8 reads 8.4 mm by 2.6 mm on TX05 versus 7.6 mm by 2.2 mm on TX04, so hole preparation should follow the page you actually buy from.
Does self-tapping mean I can skip the pilot hole?
No — self-tapping cuts its own internal thread, but it still needs the right pilot hole diameter for the gauge and substrate, or the screw will bind or strip. The collected table tabulates nominal sheet diameters per gauge (for example No.8 at 4.2 mm) which size that pilot calculation, not a hole to skip. In plastics and thin sheet the pilot matters even more; confirm against the substrate at quotation.
What is the MOQ and lead time for these security screws?
Minimum order quantity is 10,000 pieces per item. Stocked sizes ship in 3–7 days; sizes quoted as available to order, and non-standard sizes or materials, are quoted with a confirmed schedule. Confirm the exact schedule against quantity and size mix at quotation.
What should an RFQ for these security screws state?
State the designation code (TX01 through TX20) and head style, the drive (6-lobe pin TX — the matching pin-TX driver or bit is required), nominal thread size and length, material and finish, the substrate or mating nut where relevant, required certificates, and quantity per size — plus destination country.
